Simple Everyday Natural Makeup Tutorial for Mature Skin
Simple Tips to Achieve a Natural Makeup Look.
Its sims that many of you learned to do makeup at a young age. Most likely you have your signature go-to look.
Or maybe you are like me and grew up not doing it particularly well. In fact, I probably only started to get the hang of doing my makeup within the last 5 years or so. (I’m 53… lol).
If you are just starting with makeup go for Natural Look!
I always did minimal makeup, eye shadow + mascara and on special occasion blush. As the years went by, I invested in more makeup products and started to grow my collection.
Okay, you’ve got me I have a bit of addiction now.
As a beginner, I started to watch YouTube for tutorial and product suggestions.
Who wants to spend hard-earned money on a product that doesn’t work?

I Want to Share with You My Favorite Go to Products for Easy Natural Makeup.
1// Moisturize Your Face
So first and foremost, if you want flawless makeup, you should start by moisturizing your face.
You probably did it during your morning routine, I suggest reapplying moisturizer if you are doing makeup couple of hours (or more) later.
Mature skin needs all the moisture you can give to it.
2// Sunscreen
Anybody who knows me knows my obsession with sun protection.
I can’t stress it enough: use sunscreen daily.
You may even get away by using only tinted sunscreen and skip step 4.
3// Apply concealer to the under-eye area
As our skin matures, dark circles and under-eye wrinkles appear.
Not every concealer suited mature skin. I suggest investing in a good product. It will last you probably a year and give amazing results. See my video at the end.
Apply concealer under eyes, on your mobile lid to cover all the imperfections. And on top of any age spot or pimple you have.
Here are my favorite two.
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Full Coverage Anti-Aging Waterproof Concealer
Lancome Effacernes Waterproof Undereye Concealer
4// Foundation
Okay, you’ve got me. I don’t have a favorite foundation. I use It Cosmetics CC Cream instead.

Trust me when I say, it makes my skin look flawless.
But wait…
You must be thinking, CC Cream has SPF 50+ sun protection.
Then can I skip sunscreen in step 2?
On a cloudy day or if you spend a whole day in the office. I would say yes, go for it.
But if it’s sunny and I am going for a walk, then I layer sunscreen under CC Cream.
5// Powder
Here decide for yourself, do you need to apply powder or not. After all, we are talking about simple natural makeup here.
I use powder to set my under-eye area, T-zone and chin. Even my skin is super dry, my chin can get oily during the day and CC Cream always wears off faster there.
My favorite:
IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Poreless Finish Airbrush Pressed Powder
6// Eyeshadow
You can skip eye shadow completely or use natural color, suited to your skin tone.
Urban Decay Naked2 Basics Eyeshadow Palette or similar is the best palate for this look.

7// Mascara
Apply one or two coats of mascara. If you love eyeliner do it. I prefer to skip it for a natural makeup look.
L’Oreal Paris Telescopic Mascara
8// Blush
CC Cream makes my skin even, I would say to flawless looking.
Not only does applying blush will give your face a dimensional look, but it also will give you a healthy fresh look.
For light skin tones go for pink/peachy color.
And apply it with a light hand, don’t overdo it.
L’Oreal Paris True Match Blush “baby blossom”
