Spring 2020 best makeup trends for mature eyes can be complicated to replicate. I personally like more natural or no make-up makeup look. Trends for makeup in Spring 2020 can be summed up in two words: FUN and COLORFUL.
I took inspirations for this makeup looks from Cosmopolitan article “Spring 2020 makeup trends: the coolest looks to try right now”.
Not all this spring makeup trends will look good on mature, hooded eyes. So I selected only a few.

It’s all about mixing and matching the fun stuff, like intensely pigmented shades, glossy textures, and a lot of sparkles.

Spring 2020 Makeup Trend: Glitter Smokey Eye
It’s a new take on a tried-and-true smokey-eye look.

- Apply primer (to keep eyeshadow in place)
- Tap a shimmery, silver eyeshadow on top
Spring 2020 Makeup Trend: Sparkly Eyes
I would not say that it was my favorite look. If you like to line your eyes, you will like this look.

- First, rim your eyes in black kohl liner (I used grey liner for a softer look)
- Smudge liner
- Tap silver glitter or silver eyeshadow underneath your eyes
This is a great way to hide dark circles.
Spring 2020 Makeup Trend: Red Lipstick
Red lips are always in trend. This year popular a combination of matte, cherry-red lipstick, clean skin, and bold brows.
Spring 2020 Makeup Trend: Pastel Blue Eyeshadow
You will see this pastel blue eyeshadow trend all over Instagram in the upcoming months.

Apply pastel blue eyeshadow across your mobile lead and along your lower lash line. For better color payoff use primer first.
Spring 2020 Makeup Trend: Sapphire Shade
Jewel tone bold sapphire shade eyeshadow is also popular this season and great for an evening out or another formal occasion. It makes any and every color look gorgeous.

- Apply primer (to keep eyeshadow in place)
- Fill in your lids with a navy liquid or powder eyeshadow
- Press a shimmery or sparkly blue powder eyeshadow right on top
By layering the two together, you’ll create dimensions and a crazy-good color payoff.
Spring 2020 Makeup Trend: Ombre Eyeshadow
I tried to recreate this look in a more subtle way in the video below. I don’t think I will ever repeat this look, but it was fun to try. If you like makeup as I do, try t on a weekend.

- Yellow shadow on the center (I tried turquoise color)
