Full Face Drugstore Makeup for Mature Skin
Today I am trying some most popular affordable drugstore makeup products I just purchased. These products have been on Pinterest and YouTube for some time and I decided to give them a try.

I wanted to see if they suit my very dry skin and if it’s worth the money. I did find some exciting and interesting products at the local drug mart to share with you. And I’ve got a few things that made me go hm… and I will be sharing all of that with you.

And at that let us get to affordable products I purchased at Drugstore.

I am going to start today with
STEP 1: SPF
Ombrelle Tinted Ultra Light Face Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 60 50 ml bottle with 15% Titanium Dioxide – I love this facial sunscreen. I enjoy the light coverage and dewy (not oily) finish. This product is a great dupe for La Roche Posey tinted Anthelios sunscreen.
The texture is light and non-greasy and does not irritate my sensitive skin the best part is the tint – it’s not pink, or orange, but a neutral beige.
The coverage is sheer and not substantial enough to replace foundation. It layers beautifully under the It Cosmetics your skin but better CC cream.
Once I started to use Tretinoin cream, chemical sunscreen started to irritate my skin and I switched to Ombrelle tinted mineral sunscreen and never looked back.
I can reapply throughout the day as over It Cosmetics CC cream if needed.

Affordable Makeup for Face
I am a true fan of It Cosmetic your skin but better CC cream but decided to give a drugstore foundation a try.
STEP 2: FOUNDATION
Today I am trying old-school classic foundation L’Oréal Paris true match super-blendable makeup lotion in (n2 classic ivory). This foundation was launched nearly 15 years ago. It comes in 33 shades; you can easily find a match for your skin tone. It has amazing reviews and I liked it even before purchasing it.
It covers redness pretty well, easy to apply with fingers, brush or beauty blender.
I prefer the beauty blender application it gives more sheer coverage. I find that two thin layers perform better than on the thick layer of this foundation. It separated in a couple of places on my face otherwise nice foundation.
I wore it the whole day yesterday and it is comfortable on the face not drying and long-lasting. It did not emphasize my fine lines and gave a natural airbrushed look.
Overall good performance for the price. But if to be honest, I will not repurchase it, there are better products on the market for dry, mature skin with wrinkles.
STEP 3: Concealer
For under eye area, I tried Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer (120 light)
Dub it with an applicator all over under eye area and smooth it with a finger.
I don’t get all the hype about this concealer. ? There is no hydration in this product, and it gives you that old cakey, stage makeup look. My skin looked dry and textured. I had to apply two layers in the inner corner to cover dark circles under the eyes.
I bought it and am sorry I did. If you used it and liked it make sure you write it in a comment down below.
Maybe it’s one of those things that I don’t like at the beginning and end up liking it. Maybe I don’t know some secret application trick.
Please write me in a comment below about your experience with Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer.
STEP 4: Powder
I set my makeup with Rimmel Stay Matte Long-Lasting Pressed Powder (001 transparent) Available in 9 shades
I use this powder with It Cosmetics CC cream and I love it. If I feel that my face is too dewy this powder will mattify the look just a bit. It’s looked good over L’Oreal True Match foundation even on my dry skin. However, it will suit better combination skin than dry skin.
STEP 5: Bronzer
Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer (light bronzer 6675) It’s very pigmented, apply it with a very light hand if you have a fair skin tone.
Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer has a consistency somewhere between cream and powder. Use foundation, dance brush to apply it for more natural sun kiss look or beauty sponge.
STEP 6: Blush
Essence Mosaic Blush (40 the berry connection) Be careful as these are easy to overdo. Blush is very pigmented a little goes a very long way at creating a pretty, natural flush on cheeks. Blush also has excellent wear of around eight hours without fading on my drier skin.
Tap your brush well before applying blush because otherwise, you get A LOT of pink but if you tap it you get a nice rosy look. Totally buildable and I will always buy this brand because it’s a super amazing quality for value.
STEP 7: Affordable makeup for Brows
Covergirl Micro-Fine + Define pencil (honey brown 715). Love this pencil, easy to use and the color matches my medium blond hair color beautifully.
STEP 8: Affordable Makeup for Eyes
I want to share two eye products that I like this month.
Salut, Paris! The Essence Salut Paris Eyeshadow Palette and Revlon Colorstay Crème Eye Shadow (Cream Brulee – 705). You can do so many looks using these products. Salut, Paris! The Essence Salut Paris Eyeshadow Palette is very pigmented, color true to the pan, and easy to blend.
An amazing product. You can use it as a one-and-done eye shadow look. And the selection of colors is just extraordinary. I am going to enjoy putting some more looks with it for you guys.
The only drawback eye shadows create a lot of fallout.
The next item on the list for you guys is Essence Long-lasting eye pencil (18h+waterproof “Black Fever”) This Long-Lasting Eye Pencil by Essence allows a precise application and lasts for hours and hours, does not move or smudge. My holy grail eye pencil for the waterline.

Essence Get Big! Lashes Volume Boost Mascara (clump-free) – It’s a fabulous formula. I mean for 5 dollars this is an amazing product. It’s my current favorite. When I use the Essence mascara my eyelashes look thick and voluminous.
It has one of that hair like a long wand, you know the typical ones that we used to.
If you haven’t try Essence mascara and you have an extra 5 dollars laying around, give yourself a treat and pick up one of these. It’s just an amazing mascara at an unbelievably affordable price. You can use any formula and they are equally as good.
It’s just a terrific product at a great value.
STEP 9: LIPS
Annabelle Lip-liner (010 natural rose) and Loreal Color Riche, Plump & Shine (Glossy Fown) As for plumping, I don’t see that it really does any of that, but it does give your lips a nice shine. The moisture this leaves on your lips is pretty great also. Loreal Color Riche, Plump & Shine lipstick will give you more of a tint than a full-coverage lipstick.
That’s it for now.
