Anniversary Glam Up Makeup Look for Hodded Mature Eyes Over 50
I am using the Tarte “Rainforest of the Sea” palette today.
This tutorial is a glam makeup tutorial for mature hooded eyes. I’ve tried to make this tutorial as in-depth as possible as I really want it to be helpful for you!

I do this anniversary glam-up look all the time when I need to get ready quickly and I don’t want to think too much about what I have to do. The steps are so easy, and you can do it in minutes!
15 min 15 minutes
STEP 1: Apply your favorite eye primer to eyelids.
This will help your anniversary glam up makeup look last longer. I am using Morphe primer.
step 2: Transitional color.
Apply a pale “Beach therapy” eye shadow to your upper eyelids almost up to your eyebrow.
step 3: Shimmering eyeshadow.
With your finger apply “Buried gold” shimmering eyeshadow to the center and inner corner of the upper lid.
STEP 4: Darker shade.
Next, use a darker shade “Galapagos” to the outer corner of an upper eyelid. With tapping, motion applies most of the eyeshadow to the outer corner, and when there is almost nothing left on a brush spread eyeshadow to crease. This helps your hood to recede.
STEP 5: Blend, Blend, Blend.
Blend out the color gradation on your upper eyelids with “Beach therapy” so you don’t end up with a color that’s too dark, weighing your eyes.
step 6: Tight line upper lash line.
With a brown pencil tight line upper lash of each eye. Draw the line on the outer 1/3 of the eye slightly upward to give your eyes a little lift. But don’t draw it too thickly: you want a light look, not a heavy one!
step 7: cleanup.
Cleanup under your eyes to remove the fallout of the eyeshadow.
step 8: Lower eyelid
Apply “beachy therapy” eyeshadow color to lower eyelid. Repeat shimmer eyeshadow in the inner corner and darker eyeshadow on the outer lower eyelid.
step 9: Curl lashes
Curl your lashes (the entire length of each one) for a natural, wide-eyed finish. Next, apply a coat of mascara.
