Best face cleansers for dry, sensitive mature skin
We need the best face washes and cleansers for dry, sensitive mature skin. That’s because aging skin is drier and more delicate. This is true even if you’ve noticed larger pores and an oilier T-zone.
What makes a face wash suitable for mature skin?
First,
NO TO
- drying alcohols
- alkaline soap
- abrasive ingredients
Second, it should be able to remove makeup and cleanse oil without leaving your skin tight or reddened.
Lately, my skin has decided to be very sensitive, so I’ve had to completely change the products I use to clean my face in the evening.
WHAT ARE THE BEST FACE CLEANSERS FOR DRY MATURE SENSITIVE SKIN?
A cleansing trio that won’t betray you
I admit, when I was younger, removing my makeup at night was never my strong point. I always used just bar soap.
If only I’d known that removing off makeup with
1// cleansing oil and/or micellar water
2// followed by a creamy conditioning cleanser,
is one of the best ways to pamper skin and keep it clean.
For my acne-prone ladies, swap out the creamy cleanser for a non-drying medicated cleanser with salicylic acid.
